Residential care facility
Use Definition
Residential care facility means the use of premises for supervised accommodation, and medication and other support services, for persons who—
(a) can not live independently; and
(b) require regular nursing or personal care.
Examples:
Convalescent home, nursing home
Excludes:
community residence, dwelling house, dual occupancy, hospital, multiple dwelling, retirement facility

If on the same site as a community use, an educational establishment or a hospital, code assessment:
If expanding the total use area of the existing use by less than 50m2 requiring: (a) no building work; or (b) minor building work, accepted subject to requirements:
