Economic Development Strategy
The Economic Development Strategy (PDF, 2.3MB) was adopted by Council at its meeting held on 26 July, 2017.
The Mount Isa City Council Economic Development Strategy is a three-year plan designed to lead our city forward, to create a more diverse, sustainable, vibrant economy with a greater variety of businesses and job opportunities.
The Council has set aside $520,000 in its latest budget to begin implementation of 30 initiatives to help existing businesses and industries to grow and to attract new investment opportunities.
