Use Definition
Multiple dwelling means a residential use of premises involving 3 or more dwellings, whether attached or detached, for
separate households.
Examples:
Apartments, flats, units, townhouses, row housing,triplex
Excludes:
rooming accommodation, dual occupancy, duplex, granny flat, residential care facility, retirement facility
Development Zone
If on the same site as a community use, an educational establishment or a hospital, code assessment:

If (a) associated with, and subordinate to a hospital use or education establishment use on the same site; (b) for use by students or staff only, code assessable against:

If expanding the total use area of an existing multiple dwelling by less than 50m2 requiring: (a) no building work or minor building work; and (b) the building height does not exceed 8.5m, accepted subject to requirements:
