Mount Isa Cemetery Master Plan
In November 2018, Mount Isa City Council sought quotations from suitable organisations and appointed landscape architect and cemetery specialist Florence Jaquet to carry out a landscape masterplan for the existing cemetery and new extension site (north of the existing site) to guide the long-term vision for the site.
The vision for the site is based on the belief that a cemetery can be an inviting open-space for remembrance and contemplation for all to enjoy.
