Hospital
Use Definition
Hospital means the use of premises for—
- (a) the medical or surgical care or treatment of patients, whether or not the care or treatment requires overnight accommodation; or
- (b) providing accommodation for patients; or
- (c) providing accommodation for employees, or any other use, if the use is ancillary to the use in paragraph (a) or (b).

Development Zone
If expanding an existing educational establishment requiring: (a) no building work; or (b) building work where the increase in gross floor area is less than 100m2, accepted subject to requirements:
If expanding the total use area of an existing hospital requiring: (a) no building work; or (b) building work where the gross floor area of the expansion is less than 100m2, accepted subject to requirements:
If expanding the total use area of the existing use requiring: (a) no building work; or (b) building work where the increase in gross floor area is less than 100m2, accepted subject to requirements:
If expanding the total use area of an existing hospital requiring: (a) no building work; or (b) building work where the gross floor area of the expansion is less than 100m2, accepted subject to requirements:
