There are two funding programs: the Community Grants Program and Events Sponsorship Program.
These are offered in two rounds per financial year:
Round One August 1 to August 31
Round Two February 1 to March 1
Round 1 Closed on August 31 with successful recipients to be announced in October 2022.
Round 2 of its community funding program will open from February 1 and close on March 1, 2023. Applications should be received in full within these dates, with a decision to be made by the elected officials of Council.
There are two programs of assistance available from Council:
· Community Grants Program (up to $5,000)
· Events Sponsorship Program
Local community groups and organisations with eligible projects or events which make positive contributions to the quality of life in the local government area of Mount Isa city are encouraged to apply for funding assistance.
Applications must be lodged with Council by 5:00pm on the closing date of each round. Late applications may not be accepted.
