Use Definition

Means the use of premises for—

  • (a) holiday, accommodation in caravans, self-contained cabins, tents or other similar structures; or
  • (b) amenity facilities, a food and drink outlet, a manager’s residence, offices, recreation facilities for the use of occupants and their visitors, or staff accommodation, if the use is ancillary to the use in paragraph (a).

Examples:

camping ground, caravan park, holiday cabins

Excludes:

relocatable home park, tourist attraction, short-term accommodation, non-resident workforce accommodation

If expanding the total use area of the existing use by less than 50m2 requiring: (a) no building work or minor building work; and (b) the expansion is only to the office or amenity buildings, accepted subject to requirements:
