Use Definition

  1. (a) means the use of premises for
    1. (i) providing social support to members of the public; or
    2. (ii) providing medical care to members of the public, if the use is ancillary to the use in subparagraph (i); but
  2. (b) does not include the use of premises for providing accommodation to members of the public.

Examples:

disability support service, drop-in centre, respite centre, indigenous support centre.

Excludes:

child care centre, family day care, home based child care, health care services, residential care facility
