Use Definition
Means the use of premises for—
- An association established for social, literary, political, sporting, athletic or other similar purposes; or
- Preparing and selling food and drink, if the use is ancillary to the use in paragraph (a).
Examples:
club house, guide and scout clubs, surf lifesaving club, RSL, bowls club
Excludes:
hotel, nightclub entertainment facility, place of worship, theatre
Development Zone
If on the same site as a community use, an educational establishment or a hospital, code assessment:
If a new use less than 100m2, or expanding an existing use by less than 50m2 where: (a) a site with existing centre and entertainment activities; and (b) requiring no building work or minor building work; and the use does not require a liquor or gaming licence, accepted subject to requirements:

Where the use does not require a liquor or gaming licence, code assessment:
