Use Definition
Means the use of premises for—
- (a) presenting movies, live entertainment or music to the public; or
- (b) the production of film or music; or
- (c) the following activities or facilities, if the use is ancillary to a use in paragraph (a) or (b)—
- preparing and selling food and drink for consumption on the premises;
- facilities for editing and post-production;
- facilities for wardrobe, laundry and make-up;
- set construction workshops;
- sound stages.
Examples:
cinema, movie house, concert hall, dance hall, film studio, music recording studio
Excludes:
community hall, hotel, indoor sport and recreation facility, temporary film studio
