“Storytime Adventures Start Here!”
First 5 Forever is a Queensland Government–funded play-based program supporting Queensland families to talk, read, sing, and play with their babies and young children in the first 5 years.
Delivered through public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres, the program empowers caregivers to build strong foundations for their child’s future development. Strong foundations have long-lasting effects, strengthening families and communities.
Mount Isa City Library brings you a colourful range of free First 5 Forever sessions for children and their parents or carers. Come along and join the fun, learning how you and your child can talk, read, sing, and play together—every day, in every way, and in any place your imagination takes you!
First 5 Forever Baby Rhyme Time
Giggles, wiggles, and nursery rhyme magic! Baby Rhyme Time at Mount Isa City Library is where tiny tots and big smiles come together. Bring your little one along every Monday, 10 am –10:30 am for joyful, jiggly fun. You will not only boost your little one’s development but also be able to connect with other families and learn about what else the library has to offer!
