Use Definition

Market means the use of premises on a regular basis for—  

  • (a) selling goods to the public mainly from temporary structures, including for example, stalls, booths or trestle tables; or  
  • (b) providing entertainment, if the use is ancillary to the use in paragraph (a). 

Examples:

Flea market, farmers market, car boot sales

Excludes:

shop, roadside stall

Development Zone

If: (a) on land owned or operated by Council; and (b) expanding an existing building or structure by no more than 25m2; and (c) no new additional permanent buildings or structures are proposed, accepted subject to requirements:
