Domestic Waste Amnesty Days Announced

Council has announced TWO FREE DOMESTIC WASTE AMNESTY DAYS on November 11 and 18 2023. 

On these days, customers will not be charged for any domestic or household rubbish that is taken to the tip. This applies to domestic customers only with a twin axle trailer limit and does not include motor vehicle tyres or regulated waste. 

On both these days the tip will be open from 7:30am until 4:45pm. The tip is likely to be much busier than usual, so please be prepared to queue for a short period of time. 

Additional staff will be rostered on for both days to ensure that the transfer station can cope with the additional load, and that the tip face is managed.
