As part of an agreement between Mount Isa City Council and the NRMA, 34 Miles Street will be redeveloped as a renewed public carpark and EV charging station to support the Australian EV network.
To carry out these works, the NRMA has engaged Detlev’s Electrical for civil and electrical installation works, and Ergon Energy to upgrade the power supply.
Construction is scheduled for between 15 September and 10 October 2025, with works taking place across weekdays and weekends to reduce the overall project duration.
If you have any questions or concerns about the works, please contact Project Manager Manil Reddy at Council on (07) 4747 3200.
