About the role:
This position is to provide a high level of technical and administrative support services to the Development and Land Use section to ensure the delivery of essential services and information to both internal and external clients. This position will provide accurate and timely technical and administrative support in relation to the preparation of correspondence, memorandums, meetings/conferences, minutes, reports and other Development and Land Use functions.
This position is being offered as a full-time, fixed-term contract for a maximum period of 12 months.
About you:
•Certificate IV in Business Administration or demonstrated experience in an administrative support officer position.
•Demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to summarise a document, report and prepare correspondence in an accurate and concise manner
•Demonstrated sound computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth and QLD Imagery.
•Experience in interpreting building plans, surveying plans and other forms of regulatory plans.
•Demonstrated efficient customer service, organisational and time management skills including the ability to work autonomously.
