RSL Morning Tea: Guest Speaker from ADA Law

Come along to this morning tea and hear from a representative of ADA Law. ADA Law provides a Seniors Legal and Support Service, providing access to justice and legal advice for older people across western and outback Queensland.

The service aims to help seniors in these regional areas to uphold their rights, have a say in the things that impact their lives, and live free from abuse and neglect, through its legal support and advocacy service.

The service can help those in the region with:

Legal information and advice
Social work services
Elder abuse and mistreatment
Neglect
Financial matters
Advocacy
Referral to other legal, consumer and support services (including aged care or related services); and
Representation in court or before the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT).
