The Great Northern Rodeo is a Mount Isa-based, not-for-profit rodeo series that's affordable for families, provides great entertainment, and attracts a high calibre of competitors from across Northern Queensland.
Events include: team roping, bull ride, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, rope and tie, ladies' breakaway, ladies' barrel race, junior steer ride, junior barrel race, junior breakaway, junior team roping, junior barrel race, and poddy calf ride.
The event also features live entertainment and great food vendors, and is held at Buchanan Park. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day.
