Anzac Day 2025

To be held at the Civic Gardens, Memorial Cenotaph (in front of the Civic Centre), 23 West Street.

Click here to register your intention to participate in Mount Isa Anzac Day activities (i.e. laying a wreath, attending the Gunfire Breakfast, or taking part in the Parade).

•  6am - Dawn Service
• 9.30am - Anzac Parade (9am form-up on the Isa Street Bridge)
• 10am - Morning Service

Wreath Laying

 If you would like to lay a wreath on Anzac Day, at either the dawn or morning service, please advise the MC (who will be standing around the stage/lectern) of your attendance. To avoid disappointment, please get your order for a wreath in to the florist as soon as possible, if you intend on providing a floral wreath.

Anzac Day Parade

 Off-street parking is available behind the Council Library for Anzac Day participants. Alternatively, there is off-street parking through Little West Street and near BCF, or on-street parking on Miles Street. Please note: an extended road closure will be in place for the Parade.

Facilities

 Toilet facilities, hand sanitiser, tissues, cold water and juice will be available in the foyer of the Civic Centre.

Please remember that the weather on Anzac Day can be hot. Remember to wear a hat and sunscreen.
