Community Grants and Major Events Sponsorships Open

Mount Isa City Council is pleased to announce that Round 2 of its community funding program opened on February 1 and closes on March 1, 2020.

Applications should be received in full within these dates, with a decision to be made by the elected officials of Council.

There are two programs of assistance available from Council:

  • Community Grants Program (up to $5,000)
  • Major Events Sponsorship Program

Local community groups and organisations with eligible projects or events which make positive contributions to the quality of life in the local government area of Mount Isa city are encouraged to apply for funding assistance.
