Gallipoli Park Pump Track and Recreation Development
Council is committed to providing places and spaces that bring people together and contribute to the wellbeing of our residents and city.
To deliver on this commitment, Council is proposing to construct a pump track with ancillary equipment at Gallipoli Park South, Soldiers Hill, thanks to $895,000 in funding from the State Government.
The concept designs for the redevelopment are now available for public comment.
The designs include a pump track, exercise equipment, fencing, shaded seating, amenities, barbecues, art space, CCTV, lighting, and a "pedal park" that caters to young children and families.
The pump track design provides several route options, ranging from short to long, which allow riders of varied skill levels to experience the track. The track contains several features, including small and medium rollers, short and long berms, and double rollers, which offer an opportunity to approach each run a variety of ways.
Council welcomes you to participate and have your say on this project.
Your choice matters - the option that receives the most votes will be the version that will be constructed.
More detailed design drawings for both options are available by clicking here. Alternatively, you can view a 3D fly-through of the design by clicking here.
