Waste Levy Information Session for Community Waste Levy Information Session for Community

An information session will be held this week to help sporting and community groups, businesses, not-for-profit groups, and residents better understand the Queensland Government waste levy.

The Queensland Government levy will take effect from 1 July 2019.

“The information session is a great way for community to get an overview of the Queensland Government waste levy,” Cr McCulloch said.

“Topics for discussion will include the impacts for different sectors of the community, tips on how to reduce ‘levy liability’ and how the state levy will impact the fees and charges at local waste facilities.”
