MOUNT ISA CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON PROPOSED NEW SUBORDINATE LOCAL LAWS
On 11 July 2018, Mount Isa City Council (“Council”) resolved to propose to:
(the “Proposed New Subordinate Local Laws”)
The purpose of the Proposed New Subordinate Local Laws is:
· to comply and ensure consistency with recent legislative changes;
· to ensure consistency in local government’s administrative procedures;
· to correct grammatical or typographical errors;
Council has identified that the Proposed New Subordinate Local Laws may contain anti-competitive provisions, and Council has prepared a review of these anti-competitive provisions in accordance with legislative requirements.
Council invites the public to comment on the Proposed New Subordinate Local Laws and the review of anti-competitive provisions.
Comments may be provided to Council in writing, and can be delivered to Council:
(a) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org; or
(b) by post to PO BOX 815, Mount Isa, Qld, 4825; or
(c) by hand-delivery to Administration Building, 23 West Street, Mount Isa, Qld, 4825.
Consultation is open until 5:00pm, Friday 3 August 2018. Comments received after this time and date will not be considered by Council.
