The new Isa Street Bridge will officially reopen with a bright, colourful flourish in mid-December with a family-friendly community celebration on the bridge itself, as well as at nearby George McCoy Park and a section of Isa Street.
The official reopening ceremony will include a ribbon-cutting, a display of old and interesting cars, live entertainment, market and food stalls, and a jumping castle.
Council is currently accepting expressions of interest from members of the public to display their vintage, classic or special car on the bridge during the event. We are also seeking community food stalls.
