Regional Arts Development Fund

There are eight categories of funding available for individuals and groups:

  • Developing regional skills
  • Building community cultural capacity
  • Interest free arts loans
  • Cultural tourism
  • Contemporary collections/stories
  • Regional partnerships
  • Concept development
  • Arts policy development and implementation


The program supports local arts and cultural development activities, by providing short-term project-based financial assistance. Individuals and groups are encouraged to seek assistance.

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a venture jointly funded by the State Government and the Mount Isa City Council, designed to encourage the development of all types of art in the region.
